BananaPanel

BananaPanel is our CMS and online store management software. It was custom-built by our developers to provide a single point-of-entry into all of your company's or organization's web site management functions. It is a hosted system, which means that all of the software resides on our servers; to access it, all you need is a web browser and a PC, Macintosh, or Unix system.

It contains many high-end features which separate it from the competition. These include:

• Simple User Interface:   The interface of BananaPanel was designed to save the user from needing to know the details of how a web site is constructed; you provide the content and the data, BananaPanel will drop it into the appropriate place on your web pages.
• Separation of Duties:   BananaPanel features a powerful role-based security system that guarantees users can only see and edit the parts of your website and online store that they are authorized to.
• Word Processor-like Editor:   BananaPanel contains a powerful text editor to let users edit their content and site text much like they would in Microsoft Word®; in many cases, you can even copy and paste straight from your favorite word processor!
• Complete Shopping Cart:   BananaPanel uses one of the most advanced shopping carts and online catalogs available. You can specify various options (colors, sizes, etc) for each product available for purchase, specify an unlimited number of product-specific fields, and organize your products into hierarchical categories to make browsing easier. Your product database is also fully searchable so users can find exactly what they want quickly.
• Mailing List Manager:   There is also a mailing list manager that lets you maintain an unlimited number of lists. This can be useful for updating your customers on your newest products, for aiding in fund-raising drives, or just giving your site readers a way of keeping in touch.
• Complete Web Services API:   This lets your web designer access the content from any web server, in any programming language they are comfortable with.
